A prominent leader in the Century 21 Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana region. Because of my efforts, the participating brokers joined forces to work out an advertising deal with the Chicago Tribune, whereby each office would receive Friday display ads as part of a two-page center spread in the real estate section. This is but one example of my leadership successes within the broker council.
Directs the course of the third-largest real estate board in the United States as well as participating in RPAC fundraising. In 2002, recruited 2 members of Golden R, and is a part of defending the interests of Realtors® across the country.
In 2002 represented CAR and its interests in the international community. This included arranging for a trip to Thailand so that Chicago Realtors® could experience the Asian culture, exchange real estate information between Eastern and Western cultures by arranging a seminar between Thai Association of Realtor and CAR in Thailand.
In 2003 traveled to Minneapolis/St Paul region with NAR President’s Liaison of Thailand to organize the Minneapolis Area Association of Realtors which acts as ambassador to Thailand in real estate matters. Attendees learned how immigrants have contributed to the explosion of household ownership in the United States in recent years. Also, how and why foreign investment in the United States has increased exponentially over the last few years as investors capitalize on the stable U.S. real estate market.
Organized an international transaction forum targeting the real estate trends in Eastern Europe and Western Europe. Both forums were very informative and a huge success.
Currently in charge of the Eastern region of the United States and coordinating a seminar in Thailand on the Essentials of International Real Estate, along with NAR President’s Liaison from the West Coast. This seminar is a joint effort between the Thai Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors (NAR). The program runs from July 26 through August 1, 2004. Attendees will additionally be able to obtain the prestigious CIPS designation (Certified International Property Specialist) at the seminar. A recent NAR study revealed that Realtors who earn the CIPS designation increase their business by at least twenty percent.
Promotes the diversity of the real estate market and Realtor® community in Chicago.
This organization facilitates the communication and networking of real estate professionals from 57 countries around the world. I attended my first FIABCI conference in May of 2002, when it took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and have been very actively involved ever since.
This designation represents extensive experience in international real estate, including training and international transactions. Currently maintains has several listings in Thailand, and routinely works with clients of varied nationalities.
The CRB-designated manager has many years of experience in Broker Management, and has been trained in the latest methods for successfully managing a real estate firm.
