Refunds and Cancellation Policy

  • Full tution payment must be received at the Century 21 S.G.R., Inc., Learning Center prior to the first class session.
  • Cancellations received prior to the start of the first class will be assessed a $75 processing fee..
  • Students who score below 75% or those who do not test with their original class are able to retake the final exam within 2 weeks for a $25 fee.

Illinois Licensing Requirements

REAL ESTATE SALESPERSON

To be eligible for the Illinois Real Estate Saleperson Examination candidates must be…

  1. At least 21 years of age
  2. Be a high school grad or have obtained a G.E.D. and must successfully complete the 45 Hour Real Estate Transactions Course.

NOTE: Since there are some exemptions (age, out of state license reciprocity, attorney exemptions)

Course Instructor: Laurie Macdougal

Laurie Macdougal has worked in real estate since 1975 and has been a real estate educator since 1986. Having taught classes in finance, appraisal, sales training, contracts and real estate transactions, Laurie is well-positioned for pre-licensing instruction.

Beyond the classroom, Laurie was broker/owner of her independent residential real estate firm. She has published real estate training materials, as well as edited numerous real estate textbooks. Laurie is a licensed real estate broker with memberships in CAR, IAR and NAR

Course Instructor: Jim Lynch

Jim Lynch has been engaged in Real Estate since 1989. He is a partner in four Century 21 offices and is a principal in an equity real estate firm. He has taken part in the development of hundreds of units over the past decade. He was recognized in 2005 as the second top producer in the Century 21 Chicago Metropolitan Region with gross income in excess of three quarters of a million dollars.
